Jeffrey studied Psychology at Cornell University, and moved on to pursue a PhD in Experimental Psychology at University of California Santa Cruz. There he studied the psychology of language (metaphor and other figurative language, in particular) but dropped out with a Master’s degree because he didn’t feel like he was helping anyone. Shortly after, he completed his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, an institution that combines western Psychology with eastern spirituality.
Jeffrey has worked at various social service organizations, working with Seriously Emotional Disturbed children and adolescents, foster children, and adults with presenting problems including depression, anxiety and personality disorders.
